It's a great map done 2 years before the California Gold Rush.
New York is my favourite city so when I was looking for a map that was as old as my house this was the perfect choice. Not so easy to find as usually maps of Manhattan are portrait shaped and I needed landscape. The style and quality are perfect, and the black frame just completed the look I was after.
We’ve used Unique Maps to complete our landing decor. They look incredible in the gold frames we had already but didn’t know what to put in them… then we found the maps and were very impressed with the selection. Both these maps compliment each other and have personal locations linked to our families. They are constantly admired and we can’t resist the opportunity to do another we like now in the hallways downstairs. We had some issues getting the perfect size and finish for our specific frames but the team and Sebastian worked hard alongside us to achieve these fantastic results. We will admire them for years to come.

Finally got this Washington State contoured map to our son, (who is resident in Washington State!), for his birthday present. He was very pleased to receive it, fascinated by the map and commented on its quality.😊
It looks lovely in it’s frame & nestled into the green of the living room theme.
The first one came with visible mounting tape but when I messaged it was replaced without any quibbling. This is a big picture and it came with a central mounting bracket on the top of the frame. It started to pull the frame out of shape so I put my own fixings on the side of the frames with some wire and now it hangs fine. All in all very pleased.

I really love the map. I just love the colors and the antique feel. The quality of the print is very high. The paper is thick and sturdy. I also found the customer service very responsive. When they accidentally sent me the wrong map, they quickly sent me the correct one. I would buy again!
Unique Maps is the best of a few sources for Hasui’s prints. The paper and print quality is excellent, and the prices are reasonable - and two things really set Unique Maps apart: a choice of frame-standard print sizes (I buy my frames separately) and the border around the print, which adds to it’s authenticity.

Unique map company We recently decided to renovate our living room and wanted to create a relaxing space with a hint of character. We then came across the Unique Map Company. After looking at their items, we decided their work was perfect for what we were looking for. We ordered the map, and the process was easy accompanied by excellent communication. The map with all its intricate details now takes pride and place on our living room wall. , We will definitely be ordering some more of their work.
I gifted this one to my husband. It's his favorite course to play at with his golfing buddies. He totally loved it of course!!!
Beautiful poster just as pictured! Since it's large, I laid it flat for a day with some books to make it easier to put into the frame. This is my third or fourth purchase with Unique Maps and I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

I do like my framed map. Would have been happier if they had put in glass (like I asked and paid for) rather than acrylic. A misunderstanding perhaps. Sebastian kindly offered a discount on my next purchase to make up for the overpayment.

This 17th Century John Speed map of West Yorks now has pride of place in my front room. Still getting used to the olde spellynge, but I've worked out where the main cities and villages are. Definitely go for the optional antiquing. It looks amazing. The framing is also basic but solid, and the acrylic looks better than I'd been expecting. Anyway, great shop, and great customer service and order-status communication.

Purchased an old East London map framed, which unfortunately arrived badly damaged by the delivery driver/company…after contacting The Unique Map Company, they immediately dispatched a replacement, no questions asked!!
